Aiptek PJV11X PocketCinema V10 Portable Projector – Not Quite a Star
This is a portable projector that gets some mixed reviews from buyers. If you’re looking for something simple and mobile that fits a budget, this might be a option for you.
The package includes pocket projector, power adapter, compact alloy tripod, USB cable, AV cable, li-ion battery, remote control, pouch, quick start guide and CD with Arcsoft Media Converter software.
The projector accepts multiple methods of input – plug in an SD card, load files onto the device, or make use of the AV cable. The AV input is great to have, allowing you to connect the projector to almost any game system, camcorder, digital camera, etc. It supports up to 8GB SDHC cards so you can easily carry hours of video with you.

The projector light is on the weak side compared to some other models – a dark room is recommended for viewing. It will project up to a 42 inch image on any surface and is most appropriate for small groups in small rooms. The sound output is adequate but just barely.
You don’t have to be a technical genius to operate the projector, but it helps to have a basic understanding of concepts like JPEG, MPEG, MP3 and file conversion. For example, powerpoint presentations can be delivered by first converting the file to JPEG format.
This pocket projector isn’t a star, but it might be a good compromise for cost-conscious buyers who want something portable for personal entertainment and presentations to small groups.

Here is what current owners have to say about the Aiptek PJV11X PocketCinema V10 Portable Projector:
D. Rolle: “Overall, this product delivers on the concept of having a reliable, portable, multi-format projector in an extremely compact size. It’s about the size of your average digital camera or a little bigger than an Ipod but for what it is capable of, I find it to be extremely small. You can truly fit the device in your pocket… if you are looking for a cool gadget that does what it says, then I would recommend this product. Keep in mind that this is a balance between projection, price and portability.”
